Spey Cottage - Tobermory Isle of Mull |
|
| Some interior pictures of Spey Cottage Spey cottage has full electric central heating and secondary glazing throughout. Kitchen/Dining room There is a fully fitted kitchen complete with dishwasher, microwave oven and fridge freezer. The adjacent dining area has a large solid pine table which can seat up to eight people and a high chair is available if required. Main Bedroom 2nd Bedroom There are two large bedrooms both with built in hanging wardrobes and high quality solid pine bedroom furniture. The main bedroom has a double bed (complete with electric blanket). The 2nd bedroom has two adult sized bunk beds as well as a single bed which has a pull out guest bed underneath. This can convert into either two singles or a double, depending on your requirements. A sturdy folding cot is also available for very young children. Both bedrooms have views to the front and velux windows to the rear. Living room The living room is very well appointed with two; three-seater leather settees, a colour television, DVD player and a wall mounted CD/tape/radio hifi system. There is also a well stocked bookcase and a selection of board games. The fireplace was built using pink Fionnphort granite and although there is an open fireplace, unfortunately due to a technical problem (chimney sweeps brush stuck in the flue!) the fire is out of action. There is however a very realistic and effective coal effect fire. Other Useful Info. The bathroom is situated upstairs between the two bedrooms and has a full sized bath as well as an electric shower. At the rear of the cottage is the utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and a second sink which comes in handy for cleaning things like wellies or walking boots etc. Adjacent to the utility room is the 'Garden Room' which, as it has a stone floor and a drain, is perfect for storing such things as wet oilskins, bikes, golf clubs or diving equipment and can also be used for hosing down sand covered children after a day at the beach. There is also a box of assorted toys for the younger kids to help keep them amused. The rear garden of Spey Cottage is particularly beautiful in the summer and is ideal for relaxing in fine weather. There is a sheltered patio and a built in BBQ as well as a climbing frame and chute for the children.
